Celebrating 100 Years of Rheem: A Memorable Company Retreat at Club Med Bintan

From 14–16 November, Rheem SEA family came together at the beautiful Club Med Bintan for a company retreat that marked a special milestone of Rheem’s 100-year legacy. More than just a getaway, the retreat was designed to connect our team members, recharge our spirits, and strengthen the bonds that that bring us closer.

We were especially delighted to welcome our oversea colleagues handling different regions: Malaysia, Philippines, and Korea making this retreat a true gathering of our SEA team. The diversity and unity of our regional team added even more meaning to the celebration, as we came together across borders to share experiences and build stronger connections.

The program began with a purposeful Sharing Session, where departments engaged in open discussions; aimed at challenging existing practices and improving collaboration across different teams. It was a valuable opportunity to break down silos, encourage cross-departmental understanding, and spark new ideas for working together more effectively which the team has never been able to do as effectively on their busy routine job.

The true highlight of the retreat was the Team Building Game; bringing energy, laughter, and collaboration to the forefront. Through challenges and playful competition, colleagues worked side by side, discovering new ways to communicate and problem-solving. The activities not only strengthened trust and camaraderie but also showcased the power of teamwork, an essential value that has carried Rheem through a century of success.

To close the retreat, we gathered for a warm and elegant Gala Dinner, a night filled with joy, music, and togetherness. It was a fitting celebration of Rheem’s centennial, allowing everyone to relax, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company in a festive atmosphere.

As the retreat concluded, we left Club Med Bintan with renewed energy, deeper connections, and unforgettable memories. More than just a trip, it was a powerful reminder of the strength of our team and the importance of unity. With this spirit, we look forward to continuing Rheem’s legacy for the next 100 years.
